Richard C. Beck
President and CEO

Richard comes to us with over 28 years experience in Mechanical Construction, Estimating, Purchasing, and Administration with most of those years as Vice President. His responsibilities included bid material, equipment pricing, purchasing, and project administration/management.

He can boast of a successful record on mechanical contracts of $1 million to $24 million. Richard, a qualified and competent professional, recognized for completing projects on time and under projected cost, received his Bachelors Degree in 1969 from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, before serving his country as a decorated Officer in the U. S. Army’s 1st Cavalry Division.

Well organized and experienced, he is able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A solid record of working well with people at all levels, including architects/engineers, owners, general contractors, field personnel, co-workers, and vendors/suppliers make him a leader in the industry.

Richard is involved in our industry as evidenced by his many service awards. His civic activities and work ethics make him well rounded and a vital member of the R. S. Harritan & Company, Inc. team.
