Project consisted of demolition of existing tobacco conveyor and drying equipment to make room for installation of stem processing equipment which consisted of hogshead dumper, screw conveyors, weigh belt, metal detectors and separator, hammer mills, pneumatic conveying system from hammer mill to existing grinder, and back to box loading station. Also included was a complete dust collection system for all conveyors and equipment. System included installation of sound enclosures around hammer mill.
